What is hybrid technology?
Hybrid lamps expose you to the perfect combination of Red Light & UV Light in the same tanning session. This unique combination is scientifically proven to provide you with the safest, yet deepest & longest lasting natural tan.
Ultra-Violet
Ultraviolet light mimics the same UV light found in the suns rays, causing the skin to tan and produce Vitamin D. The tan is a result of the UV rays stimulating cells in the lower skin layers – known as melanocytes. When exposed to UV light, these melanocytes produce melanin, a brownish pigment that protects your skin from burning by making it darker.
Infra-red
The red light spectrum on our tubes increases the UV-compatibility and thus also the feel-good factor during the application. Its balanced spectral distribution improves direct pigmentation by up to 50%. It also has Significantly improved direct pigmentation, smoother tanning process, longer lasting beautiful tan, stimulation of the skin metabolism and a smooth and refreshing skin feel
